Gratitude Letter to Adi

By Carisa Carlton

Day Nine of my “30-Days of Gratitude” journey

September 19, 2017

Dear Adi,

I am grateful that you trusted me to represent you in San Francisco, Las Vegas, and Beverly Hills. I am grateful for the experience I received in working with American casino magnates, architects, and designers to re-brand your business.

I am grateful for the experience of working in a team under your leadership to accomplish a common goal. I am grateful for the support I received while working for you, which fostered my professional growth.

I am grateful for the confidence you instilled in me. I am grateful for the challenges you provided me. I am grateful for the opportunity to use my social skills for your business. I am grateful for the opportunities you provided that satisfied my craving to achieve more. I am grateful for the respect you paid to my problem solving ideas. I am grateful that when I said, “I can’t,”  you said, “Yes, you can.”

I am grateful for the lasting impression my work with you had on my life. I am grateful for the ideas you generated and for your willingness to support your ideas with sufficient budgets to accomplish our tasks.

I am grateful for the experience of making a documentary. I am grateful for the experience of belonging to multiple social clubs. I am grateful for the opportunity to represent your brand at city events.

I am grateful that after our lives drifted apart, you reached out to me with courage to share your dreams. And, in that regard, I am grateful that you always dream big and that you follow your dreams with a fiery passion. I am also grateful that you have strong boundaries, and with you, I was always safe.

I wish you the best opportunities in life and I trust that nothing will stop you from creating new ideas for reaching your goals.

Carisa
